Prof. H. Raihani M. Ed. PhD

Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau, Indonesia

Prof. Raihani is a professor and expert in Islamic education in various aspects including educational policy, teacher professionalism, multicultural society, inclusive education and school leadership. Raihani has been researching education in various contexts (Indonesia, Thailand, Australia, US) with a focus on how education contributes to the creation of a multicultural and inclusive society. He has been involved in assisting the Indonesian government in evaluating education reform projects. He has won various research grants and received several reputable fellowships abroad including ARC Discovery Research Fellowship, Endeavour Research Fellowship, Endeavour Executive Fellowship, and Fulbright Visiting Scholar Fellowship. As an academic, Raihani has published numerous works in reputable international journals and books, placing his name as one of the Indonesian citable scholars in the field of education and Islamic education in the world. In this project, he will supervise the research efforts of the project, providing strategic direction and overseeing the research team.


Dr. Tatenda Zinyemba

United Nations University – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology  (UNU-MERIT)/Maastricht University, The Netherlands

Dr. Zinyemba is a researcher at UNU-MERIT and her research focuses on inequalities in education, health and gender. Her PhD dissertation analysed the effects of HIV on gender gaps in educational attainment in sub-Saharan Africa. This research is in line with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. Ongoing and developing research projects include examining the intergenerational transmission of education; analysis of health care systems and policies; contraceptive use, Intimate partner physical violence; and effects of gender inequality on economic development in sub-Saharan Africa. These topics align with SDG 5, which aims to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.

She has worked on evaluation projects that examined the effects of school feeding programs on schooling outcomes with the World Food Program in Madagascar and Gambia. She has published articles related to education, gender and health. Tatenda has a PhD in Economics (Education and Health) from Maastricht University/UNU-MERIT, a Master’s in Public Affairs from Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs, a Master’s in Economics from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor in Mathematics from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.


Dr. Ichsan

Global Green Growth Institute

Dr. Ichsan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in circular economy, renewable energy, process design, and energy efficiency. His expertise spans project preparation, construction, commissioning, and operations and maintenance across various sectors, including oil & gas, chemical/petrochemical/oleochemical, bioethanol, biodiesel, biogas, biomass, pure plant oil, solar PV, micro/mini hydro, wind energy, and geothermal. Dr. Ichsan has worked with corporations of all sizes, from small to large, in construction, production, and consultancy companies, as well as financing institutions such as grant and subsidy trustees, private equities, and banks.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ichsan has been involved in international projects for countries including Indonesia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Zambia, Finland, Singapore, Bangladesh, India, Japan, Vietnam, the UK, and the USA. He has supported private companies, NGOs, international donors, and trustee agencies. Additionally, he has advised various Indonesian government ministries, including the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Resources (ESDM), the Ministry of Planning/BAPPENAS, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Villages, and the State-Owned Electricity Companies (PLN and Bina Karya).

Dr. Ichsan is also dedicated to mentoring startups in Indonesia, having guided more than 300 startups, some of which have won national and international awards. His commitment to education is evident through his teaching roles at several universities in Indonesia and overseas, as well as his authorship of several books and academic papers. His passion for village development is notable, with his involvement in over 350 village projects across Indonesia since his return to the country in 2010 after nearly a decade in Europe. He continuously learns about village technology, products, development concepts, and institutions from countries like Japan, Bangladesh, Suriname, and Ethiopia.

With a strong combination of a solid educational background, varied practical experiences, multicultural life, and excellent personal skills, Dr. Ichsan excels in his field. His specialties include circular economy development, rural village development, renewable energy project development, renewable energy funding, renewable energy technology selection, CDM, energy audit/energy benchmark (energy efficiency), process optimization, process intensification, and process simulation/modeling. Dr. Ichsan’s diverse expertise and commitment to sustainable development make him a valuable asset in his field.


Sheizi Prista Sari Ph.D

Universitas Padjajaran, Indonesia

Dr. Sari was born in Padang Panjang, West Sumatera, Indonesia. She lived in her hometown until completing senior high school at the SMUN 1 in Padang Panjang. In 2000, she continued her study in the faculty of nursing at Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung, Indonesia. In 2005, she obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing science and completed a one-year internship program afterwards to become a registered ners. Shortly after graduation, Sheizi passed the national examination for Indonesian government employees. She has become a lecturer since 2005 in the faculty of nursing at Universitas Padjadjaran with three main tasks: education, research and community service. In 2012, she obtained a master’s degree in community health nursing at Universitas Padjadjaran. While completing her master’s degree, she was involved in activities at the provincial level dedicated to strengthening community-based health care services in West Java province. She received an award from West Java’s Governor in 2012 because of her dedication to those activities.

In 2016, Sheizi got an opportunity to join two weeks in-service training of advanced geriatric nursing curriculum development in Japan, organized by JICA Japan and the Ministry of Health of Republic Indonesia. After joining the training, she became a national trainer of Basic Geriatric Nursing training for hospital nurses arranged by the Ministry of Health and hospitals in Indonesia. Her experiences in Japan learning about health care services for older adults led her to focus her research on the quality of life of community-dwelling older adults. Simultaneously, she was involved in national training for vocational nursing school educators on improving the quality of community health services through interprofessional collaboration at the education level.

In 2017, Sheizi decided to develop her research skill and complete her highest level of education in the doctoral program. After successfully getting a scholarship from the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) and the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (BUDI-LN Scholarship), she started her PhD trajectory at the department of Health Services Research at Maastricht University in May 2018. She worked under supervision from Prof. dr. Jos M.G.A. Schols, Prof. dr. Christa Lohrmann, Dr Ruud Halfens, Dr Irma H.J. Everink, and Dr Yufitriana Amir. In addition to conducting her PhD trajectory, she attended training and courses at Maastricht University. She also joined regular PhD student meetings involving PhD nursing students from the Department of Health Services Research Maastricht University (the Netherlands), Institute of Nursing Science Medical University of Graz (Austria) and Health Division Bern University of Applied Science (Switzerland). To communicate and present her research, Sheizi published several articles and joined international conferences. After obtaining her PhD, she continues working as a lecturer in the Faculty of Nursing at Universitas Padjadjaran with the motto “being the best is not the goal, giving the best is the most important.”


Unang Mulkhan, MBA.,  Ph.D

ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) & SDGs Expert)

Dr. Mulkhan received his Ph.D. in Business Ethics on ‘exploring ethical issues in the Indonesian Mining Industry’ from the University of Stirling, Scotland in the UK. He holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy from the Maastricht School of Management in the Netherlands with his Master’s Thesis on “Corporate Sustainability Reporting: A Content Analysis of CSR Reporting in Indonesia and the Netherlands”. He also received a post-graduate diploma in Sustainable Local Economic Development from the Institute for Housing and Urban Development Studies (IHS), Erasmus University Rotterdam. He has deep knowledge in the area of business and human rights, sustainable development, and climate change by involving in several projects such as UN SDGs Diagnostic Acceleration with UNDP, localizing human rights in the context of SDGs and human rights cities with Raoul Wallenberg Institute (RWI) and United Cities and Local Governments Asia Pacific (UCLG ASPAC). He joined a project on green growth in Vietnam supported by CSEAS Kyoto University in Japan. His publications includes:

Fabio Coelho Ph.D

International Education Specialist

Fabio de Oliveira Coelho is an accomplished professional in international education, specializing in teaching, research, bilingual and multilingual programs, and the professional development of educators. Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and proficient in Indonesian, Fabio has a robust background in academic writing, course and curriculum design, language assessment, localization, and teacher training and mentoring.

He is currently a PhD student at the Center for Higher Education Internationalization (CHEI) at UNICATT, Italy. Fabio holds a Master’s Degree in Linguistics from San Jose State University (SJSU), a California Bilingual Teaching Credential, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, Brazil. His additional certifications include TKT CLIL from Cambridge Assessment, Google Data Analytics, Google Educator Level 1, and Cambridge DELTA Module 1.

Fabio’s professional experience spans multiple continents and educational institutions. He has worked as a Curriculum Development Consultant for FHI360, developing lesson plans and activities for the Access Microscholarship Program. He also served as an Instructional and Curriculum Designer for the US Department of State & Georgetown University, creating online curricula for young professionals in the Amazon region. Additionally, Fabio has been an Academic Writing Instructor at the University of California at Santa Cruz and an English Teacher Trainer for the Mentari Group in Jakarta, Indonesia.

His contributions to education include roles as an English Language Assessment Consultant for the British Council in Shanghai, a Secondary Coordinator and Teacher of English and Literature at SIS School in Semarang, Indonesia, and an IELTS Examiner for IDP Indonesia. Fabio has also served as an English Language Fellow with the US Department of State & Georgetown University in various Indonesian universities, and as an English Language Specialist in Guinea-Bissau.

Fabio’s volunteer work includes translating and interpreting for Respond Crisis Translation and Rotacare Free Medical Clinic, as well as contributing to English language education programs in Nicaragua. He has published articles on academic writing and language education, and has presented at numerous international conferences and workshops.

Fabio’s dedication to education is reflected in his diverse experience, his commitment to multilingual and multicultural education, and his ongoing efforts to support and develop educational programs worldwide.
